Happy Easter!
Our first Easter we had roast lamb so I have decided that its going to be an Easter tradition. I havent had it in a while so I am really looking forward to it! :)
The comedy show is on and we are going to watch ‘God is Bullshit‘ on Easter Sunday. Hmm not exactly appropriate! :P

I love this necklace and as you know my hubby is totally into bikes so of course it made sense for me to wear it on our wedding day. It has meaning in so many levels.

I bought the stud version of these earrings today. I think they are incredibly cute! I am looking forward to getting more jewellery by this artist.

easy food

Jimmy and I have decided to try Lite n’ Easy. We are on our second week.
I have to admit that I was worried that it was going to be like eating microwave dinners all the time but it wasnt quite that bad.
Of course its not like eating home cooked meals.
In fact after having a hard think about it I figured out what the food reminds me of…
it’s like eating airplane meals.
I know that doesnt sound very appetizing but I dont mind airplane food!
I like that I dont have to cook.
Plus I save money because I am not buying lunches.
So far so good….but I wonder how long it will last.

kitchen

i have spent so much time going over and over the colors we have chosen for the house so i am going to embrace it and bore you with it. no doubt the next million blogs will be about colors.

to begin with i am going to talk about the colours we have picked for the kitchen. the cabinets are white, the benchtop is grey, the floor is a mocha timber floor board and the splashback is charcoal (for now).
the reason why i say for now its because we were set on a red splashback but as much as i love the idea of having a red splashback i cant help to think that i am going to get tired of it and will cost us a thousand dollars to change.

I saw this kitchen and it made me realize how if we get plain colors we can dress it up with exciting colors.

But these black and white kitchens also show that simple can be elegant and stunning.

So maybe its better to keep it simple and dress it up with cool accessories.

short short skirts

Either I am getting old or I am turning into some prude but holy smokes girls now a days wear some freaking short skirts!!!
I dont think its proper for girls to wear their tiny little skirts to work, we are talking casual smart corporate, but I am sure the men in the office dont say anything because they enjoy perving on them! it makes me sick!

Best Read

Posted: February 21st, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: | No Comments »

I am reading As The Crow Flies by Jeffrey Archer and I cant put the book down!! Seriously, the best read I’ve had in ages!
To think I’ve had the book in my possession for 4 years and had not given it the time of day because it’s one fat arse book. It scared me. When I lived in STockholm I lent The Five People you Meet in Heaven to my good friend Emily and in exchange she lent me As the Crow Flies. She read the book and returned it where as I in the other hand didnt and as a result the book ended up in Australia with me after I moved. I feel so bad for being such a slack friend. When I finish reading the book I think I might post her a new copy of the book because I want too keep the copy I’m reading to keep little piece of one of my sweetest friends. I hope she doesnt mind. :)
I cant wait to read more books by Jeffrey Archer!

V- Day

Posted: February 14th, 2010 | Author: | Filed under: Uncategorized | Tags: | No Comments »

Instead of trying to find a restaurant for a V-day dinner we decided to stay home and cook something..

On the menu we had…

For starters: Turkish bread with dukkah
Main: Porter Steak, Grilled with Potato Gratin swedish style
Dessert: Chocolate covered strawberries

It was delish. :)

Even though my attempts at getting the hubby nice gifts failed miserably we still had a lovely time. Oh and the hubby got me a nancybird bag! :D

yawn

i hate it when you are talking to someone and they wont stop yawning!
the worst part is that you know they are not tired because they weren’t yawning beforehand…
so either i am reeeeally boring
or they are trying to repel me.

*yawn*
anyway i am off now, i am bored
*yawn*
